A shopping center in Sarasota, Florida which had a narrow alley running through the middle of the property and different styles for each building.  The buildings were linked with a glass roofed arcade which replaced the alley and also redesigned with variations on a Bahama-Colonial theme to unify the center style but provide individualized  store-front appearances.

This walkway garden arcade originally had a dozen stores, but then the stores were combined to make a major restaurant-ballroom facility, and the arcade became a dining entertainment space while retaining the original village street look.
